Public Invited to Attend Mount Jefferson Park Playground Renovation Open House

Make your voice heard 

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities invites the public to attend an Open House for the Mount Jefferson Park Playground Renovation, located at 301 Hume Ave., between the 300 Block of Hume and Raymond Avenues , west of Jefferson Davis Hwy. The Open House is scheduled at the playground on the following dates and times:

• Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon;
• Tuesday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to noon; and
• Tuesday, June 21 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The purpose of the open house is to allow residents the opportunity to learn about the upcoming playground renovation, interact with City Staff, and view project plans. Light refreshments will be available. In the event of inclement weather, the Open House will be cancelled.

This project is funded by the Capital Improvement Program for Park and Playground Renovations. The program replaces deteriorating play equipment and provides small-scale enhancements in playgrounds and parks throughout the City.
