Movie Nights
The City of Alexandria will host the 8th Annual Comcast Outdoor Film Festival on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 at Waterfront Park, 1A Prince St. On July 15, Avatar will be shown, and on July 16, Momma Mia will be shown. Proceeds from the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival benefit a local nonprofit. Both movies begin at dusk. Admission is free.
Popcorn, homemade lemonade, and other food items will be available for sale. Participants may bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on, and coolers and outside food items are welcome. In the event of inclement weather, call the Special Events Hotline at703.746.5592.
